Dr. Ravi Nrusimhadevara
Serving Saskatchewan since 2004, Dr. Ravi Nrusimhadevara is Royal College certified Ophthalmologist with Fellowship training in Retina and possesses extensive retinal surgical experience. He has been a practicing ophthalmologist since 1999 and has performed thousands of procedures since then. His special interests include diseases of the retina, advanced cataract surgery, pupillary reconstructions, sutured and sutureless scleral fixation of intraocular lenses and refractive surgery.
Dr. Ravi holds an academic appointment with the University of Saskatchewan as Clinical Assistant Professor in Ophthalmology. He is actively involved in training residents and medical students. Along with his practical teaching he has contributed to textbooks, journal articles, and various national and international meetings. His memberships include the Canadian Ophthalmological Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Apart from Ophthalmology, Dr. Ravi has a strong interest in computer science and solid-state electronics. His other interests are badminton, tennis and swimming. Despite his hectic schedule, his two sons are his ultimate priority and he enjoys going on adventures and spending quality time with them.
